We are having the mast re-rigged and a few problems have surfaced! The main stay bottle screws are seized and we wanted to redo the deck fittings & stemballs so we tried to get the tie rods off but they too have seized where they screw into the bronze fittings below deck. Currently faced with cutting the tie rods and getting new ones from Beneteau for many ££. Wondered if anyone else had similar challenges and how they solved them?
