I have a flexofold two-blade propeller and a 'Stripper' rope cutter installed behind it. This uses up virtually all of the prop shaft leaving no room for a shaft anode. There is a hull mounted anode just forward and to one side of the shaft housing, but I'm not sure what that is connected to (if anything!).
I've had the boat just 18 months and can't see any corrosion problem with the prop, but wonder if it is not sufficiently protected at present.
(I note that the flexofold 3-blade props have provision for an anode on the prop boss, but there is nothing like that for the 2-blader.)
Any comments or advice please.
