Diesel Feed Hose Cracking. MD2030 on a 361

This on a 361 (2002) based in Med. When servicing the engine at the end of the season I noticed the rubber feed tubes both sides of the primary filter were showing signs of cracking. This particularly where the hose is bent round a radius. Further investigation found similiar symptoms on both the outlet and return pipes at the tank - again on a tight radius. The 8 X 18 mm tube is stamped "made in Italy in 2001" with a batch number L022011-14. There is no sign of leaking - yet!. Assume this is a rubber covering of a reinforced pipe that has failed and the interior is still intact. Before I replace the whole system any comments would be helpful
