We have an Oceanis 37 and are seeking advice on where we should take the 12v positive supply and negative return for a new NASA Navtex BT-3 receiver. I can't seem to locate any bus-bar connector blocks on the boat from where I could locate spare connections to connect the + and - wires supplied with the instrument and I don't particularly like the idea of connecting straight onto the leisure batteries terminals. This might sound like a fairly rudimentary question to those familiar with boat electrics [to which I am a novice] so I will be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
