Bow Sprit and self furling crusing shute

When I purchased my 411 it came with a cruising chute and snuffer! so last year we fitted it and got it to work! Amazed! all went well till heading back to Poole and we got it wrapped all over the front of the boat! and snuffer stuck! So I had seen a furler on a 47.7 and then contacted Crusader Sails in Poole,£1,200 later I have the furling system and my chute modified to fit. So off on one of our trips to Cowes for a try out Poole to Cowes with chute up! and 6 kts most of the way in light winds, but when it came to pack it away it all got a bit messy as it was too close to the fore stay and furler and sail, So back to Crusader sails and they wanted another £600 for a bow sprit ! mmmmm and problems, the bow sprit would get in the way of the anchor hatch so I found a new end of a Spinnaker pole in Piplars of Poole and went to find a metre length of stainless to fit, the nice man at the stailess engeneering company poped the fitting in the lathe and turned it down and the fitting tapped into place so length of cord fitted to the quick release and ready to be fitted.
Position on the anchor mount there is a spare rubber wheel that we seldom use for a second anchor so remove roller and drill bow sprit to fit fitting with the bolt from the roller fitting back in place and a lenth of cord to hold it in place if not in use and it is able to be dropped if required easily. On test we have a bow sprit and a crusing chute and forstay a meter apart and I am able to control it from the cockpit furling dropping if required! and all is bliss! and it all stows neatly under my bunk! coiled! well, there is always something else to mod! what next?
